BEARSVILLE FESTIVALS
Woodstock, NY World Peace Mandala Celebration
Thursday, Oct 16th – Sunday, Oct 19th | Woodstock, NY
Step into a sacred space of peace, mindfulness, and transformation.
Hosted by the Tashi Kyil Tibetan Buddhist Institute of Kingston, this four-day celebration welcomes Buddhist monks from Dehradun, India, who will create and dissolve a breathtaking World Peace Sand Mandala, a stunning symbol of impermanence and renewal.
Through art, ritual, and reflection, we’re invited to embrace change, cultivate stillness, and connect with the universal message of peace.
Enjoy ceremonies, Tibetan teachings, music, and community gatherings, all free and open to the public. Optional contributions support the Tashi Kyil Institute (tktbi.org).
Highlights include:
🕉️ Opening Ceremony & Mandala Creation – Thursday, Oct 16 | Old Woodstock Library
🥟 Cook Momos with the Monks – Friday, Oct 17 | Tashi Kyil Center, Kingston
💫 Tibetan Medicine & Mandala Lectures with Dr. Kungchok & Robert Thurman – Saturday, Oct 18 | Old Woodstock Library
🎶 Songs of Peace Celebration – Saturday Evening | Live Music & Poetry
