Discovering Bearsville Park

A Tranquil Haven for Music and Nature Lovers.

Immerse yourself in Bearsville's rich history and creative legacy at the sun-kissed Park, nestled alongside the iconic Bearsville Theater. Experience Albert Grossman's visionary blend of nature and music, fostering inspiration in this serene woodland sanctuary.

Once a quiet space, Creekside Bearsville Park now buzzes with energy as a magical place for weddings and private events, and also as a hub for music and nature enthusiasts. Boutique Festivals and outdoor events can be enjoyed, serviced by an outside bar, kitchen and other facilities.

The new Nature Trail meanders along multiple paths past ancient trees and a wildflower meadow.  The adjacent music trail narrates multiple albums connected to Bearsville both then and now.

Streamside Beauty and Peace

A perfect place for both celebration and remembrance on the banks of the Sawkill Creek.

Step into the peaceful embrace of Bearsville Park's Celebration Garden, surrounded by native trees and shrubs, with the tinkling soundtrack of woodland birdsong, this special place on the edge of the Park is much beloved by many.

A 1600 sq ft clearance, underplanted with native shrubs and covered in bluestone, this circular space on the edge of the Sawkill Creek is ringed by tall pines, giving it an almost cathedral-line feel.  With bluestone steps to the creek, an ivy covered archway, carved stones underfoot, and space for seating over 100 people, this is a beautiful natural space for a celebration of life, or birth, and of marriage.
