Bearsville Bluegrass Festival is Back for 2026!
Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 24 and join us at beautiful Bearsville Park for an unforgettable Memorial Day Weekend celebration filled with live bluegrass, delicious food, nature, community, and that unmistakable Bearsville energy.
Featuring On the Trail with Austin Scelzo, Catskill Mountain String Band with Bruno Bruzzese, and Bugs on a Log String Band, this year’s festival promises soaring harmonies, driving rhythms, and an atmosphere that keeps people coming back year after year.
Bring your lawn chairs, bring your friends and come hungry.

Festival Highlights
Join Us for a Community Harmony Session
Before the festival begins, join us at 11am for a relaxed and welcoming community singing workshop led by Austin Scelzo. This is a chance to come together, lift your voice, and experience the joy of singing harmony in a fun and supportive setting.
Whether you’re part of a choir, a singing group, or simply someone who loves to sing, you are invited to share an experience of making music together. Austin will guide a one-hour session focused on simple bluegrass harmonies, helping you build confidence singing duets and trios with others. The session is completely free, with your festival admission ticket.
Wander the Bearsville grounds on guided Nature Trails with Dave Holden, dive into music history on a Rock & Roll Tour with Larry Germack, and explore curated vendors from the beloved Phoenicia Flea Market throughout the park.
Families are warmly welcomed, with lawn games, open space, and activities for all ages woven into the day.
Come hungry, festival favorites like grilled brats (meat and vegan), pulled pork, sweetcorn, salted potatoes, and watermelon will be served fresh all afternoon.
