Woodstock Historic Artist Estate - The Carriage House
The Carriage House is one of three accommodations on the historic Woodstock estate of painter Reginald Marsh, alongside the owner-occupied Manor House and the nearby Pond House.
Carefully positioned to ensure privacy, each home offers its own unique experience of this picturesque property. The Carriage House has a private backyard facing the stream and waterfall, with uninterrupted views of the surrounding nature preserves, while still being just a short walk from the center of Woodstock.
Framed by century-old cedar trees and expansive lawns, the Carriage House is an idyllic retreat that showcases both architectural charm and the natural beauty of the estate.
Perfect for a family of four, the 800-square-foot Carriage House is designed with comfort and functionality in mind. The master bedroom features a king-size bed adjacent to a spacious bathroom, while the children’s room offers a low full-size bed that extends to queen size, along with family-friendly amenities like a travel crib, toys, and a high chair. The contemporary, open-concept kitchen is fully equipped and flows into a cozy living and dining area, with access to a private terrace, outdoor charcoal grill, and dining space. Guests can enjoy shared access to the estate’s swim hole and waterfall, with additional secluded swim spots nearby. An outdoor daybed overlooks the iconic Indian Head mountain ridge, creating a tranquil space for relaxation amid Woodstock’s scenic landscape.
