Woodstock Historic Artist Estate - The Pond House

Woodstock Historic Artist Estate - The Pond House

The Pond House is one of three unique accommodations on the historic estate of renowned painter Reginald Marsh, alongside the Carriage House and the owner-occupied Manor House.

Each space is private and distinct: while the Pond House enjoys its own secluded garden, pond, and stream views, the Carriage House and Manor House are situated nearby but are oriented to ensure complete privacy for all guests. Only the Pond House is framed by two bordering preserves, adding to its sense of exclusivity, with no other structures visible from within.

Inside, the architect-renovated Pond House offers an open floor plan ideal for family stays, featuring vaulted ceilings, a library, a wood-burning stove, and contemporary kitchen. The master bedroom, with floor-to-ceiling glass on three sides, overlooks the pond, while a children’s room connects directly to it. A separate queen bedroom downstairs opens to a glass facade, offering serene pond views. The Pond House’s grounds include private access to swim holes and a waterfall shared only with Carriage House guests. An outdoor daybed offers a sweeping view of Indian Head mountain ridge, providing an unforgettable connection to the natural beauty of Woodstock.
